The University of the Russian Academy of Education (URAE) was founded on February 12, 1969 by the Russian Academy of Education (former Academy of Pedagogical Sciences).

There are over 18,000 students and postgraduates at the University. The University has 15 branches all over Russia.

Chelyabinsk branch has existed since 1992. It offers a range of faculties, bachelor and master degree programs via part-time and full-time study. Having a higher education and a diploma of prestigious Moscow institution is of great value today.

Like all leading Chelaybinsk universities, the URAE Chelyabinsk branch is licensed and nationally accredited.

The URAE Chelyabinsk branch was the first one among Chelyabinsk universities to introduce such actual specializations as Public Relations (PR) and Psychology.

All study programs offered by the URAE Chelyabinsk branch are purpose-designed for the following modes of study:

Full-time education – 4-5 years;

Part-time education – 5-6 years;

Short part-time education – 3,5 years.

Highly qualified teaching staff includes 17 Doctors of Sciences and more than 50 Candidates of Sciences.

The URAE Chelyabinsk branch has good facilities not only for education and research work, but also for sports, creative and public activities. Our university always takes part in the annual festival of talents «Students’ springtime». Students have their own Student club, Student Council and KVN team called «Dvoryane» («Club of the Funny and Inventive»). Other opportunities include participation in summer construction teams, student exchange programs with Germany, festivals and competitions.
